By definition, Stress is: a force exerted when one body or body part presses on, pulls on, pushes against, or tends to compress or twist another body or body part.
What it means, stress is normal. It is a part of our life. This is how we live, move, function. This is how we exist. We cannot get rid of stress in life.
What people feel and refer to as “stress” is some kind of a unbalanced forces. When I teach my stress management course I don’t teach to get rid of stress. You cannot.
I teach how we can recognize the sources of the stress, how we can redirect excessive force, and how we can achieve the balance. In fact, the way I address the emotional stress is the same as I address punches and kicks in martial arts. I use the same principles to teach stress management, without fighting part, of course. I will be talking about it more later.
On my web site hpln.org you can find the schedule of classes I teach, as well as links to my audio and video channels.
Thanks for tuning in! Now let’s breathe, Smile and keep the balance.
I will talk to you next time.
PEACE!
Jin
