022 – What Does It Mean To Be Like Water? Mindfulness in Nature.
Good morning, folks! I am Jin with Morning Mindfulness Podcast. I hope you are doing great in your corner of the World! Let’s start with a breath and a smile! Great new day!
What does it mean to be like water? I’ve learned a lot from Water, and I am still learning. I’d like to make a couple of points today.
How To Be Like Water?

Try this:
Scream at the water. Call it names. Does it react? Or does it really care?
Push the water with your hand. Does it resist much?
Take the hand out of the water. For how long does it keep the memory of you?
Pour the water into the cup. What shape will it become?
In my classes I am teaching about being the Water. What am I trying to get out of it? To me, being like water means don’t over-react, don’t resist, be flexible, take any shape you need, but still be who you are.
Water is very soft and very flexible, but also it is very persistent, it cannot be compressed, and it is perhaps the most powerful and most destructive force of the Nature.
Bruce Lee said, “Be water, my friend.” I will repeat it today. Be like Water!
If you like to know how, come to my class, we will try to figure it out together 🙂
Thanks for tuning in! Hope you subscribe to my podcast on my site HPLN.org.
Now let’s breathe and smile. I will talk to you next time.
PEACE!
Jin
