Shout Out to the Ultimate Planner!
Good morning, folks! I am Jin with Morning Mindfulness Podcast. Hope you are having a fantastic morning! Let’s breathe and smile.
Today I’ll talk about type #4, which is my other personality. That is Melancholy. I am a mix, like most of people I know.
We are known as analytical, self-disciplined, and very organized. We follow instructions. And we are very compliant, in most of the cases at least. We like to plan everything, and there’s no detail too small to be given a considerable amount of time for planning.
I can speak about me. Over 33 years in martial arts, yeah, that requires self discipline. Organized? Well, I am half phlegmatic. Sometimes my desk is a mess. But I know exactly where everything is, so don’t touch it. This is just my way to organize, huh!
We like being on time. I prefer arriving few minutes earlier and wait, so I come in right on time.
However, we may come across as cold, unsociable. We are perfectionists, and that can make us look very much criticizing. That is not bad. You don’t want brain surgeon to be making approximate cuts.
However over planning and waiting for the perfect moment to get started is not the most productive habit. This is something I am working on in myself.
This personality is known for being moody and even negative. Unless you are mixed with phlegmatic, like I am. Then we just don’t care.
As a reminder: Yesterday I started my new Qigong class in Scottsdale, AZ at Harumi’s Yoga Studio. Check it out!
