Once upon a time, a warrior came to his teacher and asked for a good advice the night before a very important battle.
“Stop asking stupid questions,” the teacher yelled. “The night before the battle you need to sleep well. At this time, smart man does not need advices, and stupid one won’t use them, because you need time to become smarter.
Before the battle you don’t need advices, you need to know your enemy’s secrets.”
“Thank you, teacher,” the warrior said. “I just received several great advices from you, and I will sure follow them.”
“Of course! It’s always good to get an extra advice!” the teacher smiled.
My friends, we are going through a life-long learning experience. Everybody and everything in our life can become a teacher. We will never have a deficit of training material and examples. Just look around and pay attention.
The main question is what are we learning? We don’t always need somebody who call themselves teachers. We can learn from neighbors. We can learn from Nature. We can learn from our own successes and failures. Just observe and analyze what we see.
What did you learn from this podcast? I am not doing it to teach you. I am sharing my thoughts because by doing this I am helping myself. I am thinking. I am learning to express my ideas in short messages. Maybe, just maybe, I can help somebody to think about something they haven’t thought. And when I get feedback from my listeners, I learn. So thank you for the feedback.
And thanks for tuning in! You can subscribe to my podcast on my site HPLN.org.
Now let’s breathe and smile. Have a great weekend! Learn something, and tell me what it was.
I will talk to you next week.
PEACE!
Jin
