Many years ago I heard about a man in Soviet Union by the name Porfiriy Ivanov. Quite an interesting person, a healer and a teacher. He called everybody “kiddo”, so after his death his followers called his system “Detka”, which means “Kiddo” in Russian.
I think these principles are quite interesting to hear. Here we go:
1. Twice a day take a swim in a cold water wherever you can: river, lake, tub, take a shower or pour some cold water on you. When taking a shower, finish with cold water.
2. Before or after shower, of even during, walk outside barefooted. Stand on the ground or snow and wish health to yourself and to everybody.
3. Don’t drink or smoke.
4. Practice fasting once a week, Friday 6PM until Sunday noon, or at least 24 hours.
5. Sunday at noon go outside barefooted, like described above. After that eat whatever you want.
6. Love Nature around you. Don’t spit.
7. Greet everybody you meet, especially elders. Wish them health if you want health for yourself.
8. Help people any way you can, especially those in need. You will get a friend, and help to bring Peace to the World
9. Get rid of greediness, laziness, pride, fear, hypocrisy. Trust people, don’t say bad things about them and don’t listen to bad things.
10. Keep your head away from thoughts about illness and death.
11. Don’t separate thought from action. Reading is good, but doing is the main thing.
12. Share this knowledge. Don’t brag, be humble.
I thought this principles sound interesting. Maybe a bit extreme for somebody. I’ll let you decide.
