Inspiring Hearts of Sanguine People
Good morning, folks! I am Jin with Morning Mindfulness Podcast. Hope life is great in your corner of the World! Let’s breathe and smile.
Yesterday I was talking about Choleric personality, or Dominant type. Those are fast paced task oriented people. Now, fast paced and people oriented are those we call sanguine. They love having fun, and they love to party. If there’s no party around, they will make one. They are very easy to communicate with. They don’t know the word “stranger”.
To me personally, the way I grew up, sanguines are annoying. Irritating. Just leave me alone.
Sanguines like to talk more than they like to listen. In fact, they are great story tellers, However, they miss half of the details, which irritates heck out of me, and they can be quite dramatic, they tend to exaggerate. If you want to tell the story, you better be precise. I’m watching you!
Sanguines like being the center of attention. They like public recognition. The more people are around, the better. This what makes them stronger.
However, they may fall short in following up, being organized and keeping details. Don’t put them on the project where they have to spend long spans of time alone working on tedious tasks.
They like to inspire, bring life into any environment.
But one thing you don’t want to do is embarrass them publicly. They won’t remember what it was about, but they will remember how much it hurt. This is how you can lose a sanguine friend.
Sanguines are great people. However, if we are not careful with out judgments, we may see them as unreliable and even phony.
