133 – I’d Love to Think I Am Right, but Who Says I Am?
I am right!.. Or am I?
Good morning, folks! I am Jin with Morning Mindfulness Podcast. Hope you are having a wonderful day. Let’s breathe and smile.
Who says I am right?

Many years ago I was talking to my teacher about Path in life. At that time I was already absolutely sold out to Yoga and Martial Arts, healthy lifestyle etc. My question was, how come some people get an understanding of these obvious topics, and some people just don’t see it? To my surprise, my teacher answered, “Who told you that you’re right?”
So often I see people train, meditate, eat healthy, whatever they do, and it feels like they are trying to sell their lifestyle to other people. They may be teaching and trying to push a square peg into a round hole. And it just doesn’t work. I’m speaking from experience here.
What I am trying to do in my classes is to give people options. There’s more than one Path to the top of the mountain, and they all may be right. However, my Way may not work for you. I believe everybody has to find their own Path, and also be flexible enough, just like water, to adjust the course if necessary. I’d love to tell you that my secret Path is the best one, but I know by now it’s not. It’s just something I chose to walk and enjoy.
Find yourself a teacher, a coach, somebody who can see and correct you. Try several ones until you find what you like. I cannot tell you what to choose. But I can tell you when somebody’s saying that his or her system is the best, I immediately leave them mentally. I lose the interest to whatever they do. That’s just me, I am not saying I am right. In fact, if I’m sure I am absolutely right, is a good time to ask myself, am I?
Hope this makes sense.
You can contact me through my site HPLN.org. There you will find schedule for my classes and workshops. Now let’s breathe and smile. Thanks for stopping by. I will talk to you next time.
PEACE!
