#1 – Welcome to my new Healthy Positive Lifestyle Podcast
Healthy Positive Lifestyle Podcast is Up and running. And it got a new home. Welcome to the first episode!
What are we gonna talk about in this podcast?
Well, first of all – Healthy Positive Lifestyle, just what the title says.
I will be sharing my own experience and talking about things I have been doing or studying myself. This includes martial arts, yoga, various types of meditation, Chi-Kung, music and vibrations, healing arts, nutrition, tea and tea ceremonies, oriental gardens, Eastern philosophies, fitness, energy healing, positive affirmations and self-programming, building self-esteem, NLP and many other things. They were all built on the same principles.
What qualifies me to be the person who can talk to you about all of that? First of all, 30 years of training in Martial arts, yoga, meditation and similar things. Some other disciplines like Taoism and Zen Buddhism, came in much later in the program. Perhaps, when the student was ready, I am talking about myself of course. In my future podcast I will be talking about my own journey I started somewhere in mid-70’s.
I will bring my own music. I may even make some of the episodes very loose, with minimal talking and more music between words. Of course if you have suggestions or ideas, please email them to me. Of course I am not an expert in every practice area I mentioned. That’s why I am planning to have some co-hosts periodically. Besides bringing you the best information I can get access to, I will be learning myself. I love learning!
Why am I doing this podcast?
Well, bringing something positive to people around me is a major foundation for my belief system. I wanted to be a doctor since I was about 5 y.o. I did not know anything about medicine. However I was not a really healthy kid, and I had to deal with doctors a lot. To me, being a doctor symbolized bringing something really good to people, helping them. When I graduated, got my license and started working, I came into the big World with such a huge dreams to bring the best of what I had and share it with other people. But that was the moment when the dreams ended and reality began. I saw so many obstacles placed in the way of helping people, that I almost had second thoughts about my profession.
All right, I am not gonna say what I think about healthcare system in the US. That’s enough negative for today! My podcast is Healthy POSITIVE Lifestyle, so let’s keep it positive. I just wanted to touch some reasons why I created this podcast. And the main reason was to help people outside the scope of my profession.
I believe that the World around us is like a curved mirror: it reflects back x100 and more whatever we send out. That’s why the more positive I send, the more positive the World becomes around me. I cannot change the World, but I can change myself. There is one thing in the entire Universe that only I have control over. Besides, I am the only one who has this total control over that thing. And that is my attitude. That’s right! I cannot control anything else. I cannot control my life, how long I’m gonna live, what happens even the very next second. But Creator gave me total freedom of belief. On the other hand, I am the one who will experience all the consequences of my actions. So I need to choose wisely. And I chose to keep my attitude positive, and to send positive vibrations into the World. Eventually, somebody who is standing close to me, will catch the positive attitude, and then we both will be projecting it.
Another reason to do this positive lifestyle podcast is to keep myself positively charged. This is like some kind of accountability program. We will be talking in future podcasts about power of a spoken word. We are hung by the tongue. Speaking is one of the most powerful tools we have to program our own mind. By doing this podcast, I have to remind myself about all these things I am talking about, then put together a script, read it several times, then record it, listen to myself several times while putting the podcast together. Basically, I am charging myself with more positive energy. Very similar process to what Dr. Shad Helmstetter described in his book “What to say when you talk to yourself” I love that book and definitely recommend it even though I don’t have any financial interest in doing that.
Finally, the best way to learn things is to teach somebody. If the knowledge is not passed on somebody else, it dies. I’ve learned quite a bit for the last three decades, and I don’t want this knowledge to die inside of me.
