#20 – How to find and Restore your Center and your Inner Peace
Today we start talking about inner peace. We can call it inner balance, or Center. I don’t wanna argue about words. Let’s talk the essence.
Have you had any days when everything is falling out of your hands? You don’t feel like doing anything. Nothing really works. Your mood is down. You may feel mad. You may feel grumpy. You don’t really wanna talk to anybody. You feel like your life is in chaos. You have too many things to do, but don’t know where to start? And don’t really want to. Everything irritates you. Every small thing is an emergency. You are in a constant hurry, even if you have no idea where to go.
Have you ever had days like this? I have. Many of the people I know have those moments periodically, to different degree of course. Whatever the reason was, we still need to live. How can we deal with that?
Notice, that I am not in a position to discuss, diagnose or give any recommendations regarding clinical depression, or any kind of medical condition. I am only talking about every day life situations many of us are experiencing.
Today I wanna talk about the overall principles I personally used, and I found helpful.
- Admit the obvious
- Make a Decision
- Ask for help
- Use reset button
- Slow down
- Go One step at the time
- Stop fighting with yourself
- Watch your words
- Meditate in advance
- Control your environment
- Keep it fun
- Go with the flow
This is definitely not a complete list, but it gives some place to start.
