Mind Tricks in a Good Way:
Good morning, folks! I am Jin with Morning Mindfulness Podcast. Hope you’re having a terrific morning! Let’s breathe and smile.
Today I will do something totally different. I will play a short tune for you on my flute. Like you haven’t heard it already on a background. Here we go:

I don’t know what exactly you heard, but this is what I really played:

Yes, just up and down the scale. All I did is changed the duration of each note and the pause between them. I can play another dozen of tunes using the same notes, and all of them will be different.
Now, remember, all those beautiful pieces by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, as well as majority of other music we hear, are only using 12 notes. That’s it.
My point is, we create artificial patterns for ourselves, we stick to those pattern, and we call life boring. Life is like music: every day is so different even though it may be using the same scale. Find out what is different, and if you can’t – make it different.
