I have a beautiful tale for you today. It talks about a man in India. Every day he was taking two empty buckets, going down to the river, and bringing water back to his master’s house.
One bucket was perfect, and another one got a crack. So technically the man was only bringing one and a half buckets of water every time. After a while, the man told the master, “You cannot pay me for two buckets because I only bring one and a half.”
“I know,” the master answered. “That’s why I planted flowers on the side of the trail. Look how beautiful they are, thanks to you!”
My friends, how often we create an image of perfection in our mind, and we get so upset if how we look and what we do does not reflect our own imagination. However, our images are so limited. We don’t know the bigger picture.
We all have our flaws. We have our cracks. I know for sure I do.
But we never know how and how much our Perfect Imperfection will affect the World around us. So be yourself, accept who you are. Do your best to be the best you that you can be. And one day you may be amazed by all the flowers along your Path in life. Think about that.
Thanks for tuning in! You can subscribe to my podcast on my site HPLN.org.
Now let’s breathe and smile. I will talk to you next time.
PEACE!
Jin
