My Perspective on Ultimate Gratitude
Good morning, folks! I am Jin with Morning Mindfulness Podcast. Hope you’re doing fantastic today! Let’s breathe and smile.
Do you like butterflies? You don’t even have to, to admit they are beautiful. But before they become butterflies, the caterpillars have to go through something, that humans would label as pain of transformation. If humans were caterpillars, they would think, “Oh my God, I’m going to die!” But caterpillar just goes through the process to get upgraded.
In a course of life, we don’t go through such drastic changes, other than being born. However, in our development the philosophy is still the same: we cannot become a butterfly staying inside caterpillar body. We have to give up the past. If you want to achieve any type of success in life, that couch potato has to die in order for you and me to start a new life.
Now I will make a profound statement. Humans are stubborn creatures. We don’t like changes. And sometimes God sends us little helpers, just not in a way we may expect.
Listen, my friend, those helpers may be your coworkers who make you lose your job and change your Path.
They may be neighbors who create some turbulence in your life and force you to take a detour.
They may be your friends who stab you in the back hoping to get several pieces of silver.
Or they may be the rest of the crowd pointing fingers at you and screaming “Crucify!”
How can we stay grateful?
This is not a punishment! This is somebody’s trying to tell us that we are capable of much more than just being a caterpillar, but transformation may be uncomfortable.
So today I’d like to express Gratitude. I am grateful for every problem I’ve had in my life, because they made me stronger. Big thanks for every enemy I discovered because they taught me valuable lessons. I appreciate every Judas in my life. Because I had to die to see the light of new Life. Thank you!
Thanks for stopping by.
