Good morning, folks! I am Jin with Morning Mindfulness Podcast. Hope you’re doing fabulous today! Let’s breathe and smile.
Do you like spiders? Seriously, do you? I must admit, I inherited absolutely irrational and totally hysterical fear of spiders from my mom. I have it on my subconscious level which makes me act before I can think about what happened.
If you like them, God bless you. My talk is about something different.
Growing up, I thought so many times, how wonderful that would be if all spiders disappeared at once.
I recently looked up some numbers on internet. It says that spiders on just 2.5 acres of forest consume about 105K lbs. of insects per year. Are you concerned about mosquitos, ticks, and other disease transferring creatures? The ecological equilibrium would dramatically shift. I even read that humans might not survive!
I am not planning to discuss the environmental issues. My point is, everything was created for a reason. We may not like it, but if it exists, there was a reason. If we try to eliminate something that looks irrelevant, the ramifications may be devastating.
And now I can see people beginning to understand that. Like problem with bees, for example. They sting, but without them the World may fall apart. At least, it would never be the same again.
With Nature example it is easy
Now let’s take it one step further.
I believe that the law of compensation exists not just on physical, but on spiritual, emotional, and other levels. Even though our ego may not like it. Something may hurt, and we may wish that would never happen. However, that something that really hurts might be our protection from a much bigger problem.
Remember spiders. Or bees, wasps, ticks, mosquitos. Or some life problems we may wish never happened. They all exist for a reason we may never even know.
Think about it.
Thanks for stopping by.
