Humans United!
Good morning, folks! I am Jin with Morning Mindfulness Podcast. What a terrific day today is! Let’s breathe and smile.
I came from entirely different World. The opposite, in fact. While growing up, I believed that Americans were bad guys. They hated out country, and they were planning to come and destroy our World.
Then I moved to the US in 1995. You know what I found? People. Nicest people I’ve ever met, who grew up with a fear of us. Ironic, isn’t it?
Today we’re talking about wars, political regimes, parties… People kill one another in the war. Many start hating each other based on the party they belong to. But at the end of the day, they have families they love and they hopefully come back to. And those families are just regular folks who do their best to enjoy lives. I know. I came from the family my grandpa never came back to from WWII. My mom never new her father.
I grew up in the country that does not exist any more. The land itself turned into a war zone not long ago. People went against their neighbors just because of political views. Babies were dying, and nobody wanted to accept responsibility for that. And I just happened to know folks on both sides of the line. They all have families. Kids. Nice people! Perhaps mislead by somebody who wants to divide the World. Then which side should I take? Let’s kill my friend I was sitting next to in Biology class! Or maybe we can kill my friend I was sitting next to in history class! How ridiculous is that?!
You know what makes us all so different? Nothing. We are the same. We are humans. Why don’t we just start acting accordingly, love and respect each other?
Think about that.
Thanks for stopping by.
